Cadiz, Spain
We haven't updated in awhile because the internet has been irregular and expensive. It might get a little harder to keep up on this blog for the remainder of the trip but we will try. In the meantime we'll be writing in a journal to fill this in later. In the morning we woke up and went to the beach. The beach here is pretty big and we walked for maybe a mile before we found a spot we liked. We laid around for awhile next to a soccer "field" until I couldn't sit there anymore and decided to go play soccer with these 2 spanish boys. I went to play soccer with them and Cheryl went for a walk along the water. They were 19 years old and from Cadiz. It was interesting to talk to them about the difference in sports between Spain and America. Soccer, basketball, and motorcycle racing are the biggest sports in Spain. When Cheryl got back we decided to go back to the hostel for lunch before we caught the train to Sevilla. The hostel was one of the better we have stayed in and we were a little sorry to leave the place behind. The train ride was only about 2 1/2 hours but when we arrived we had a very hard time finding the hostel. We walked for close to 2 hrs. and both of us were pretty frustrated at this point. After we arrived we watched the soccer games and went out for dinner. We wanted to cook something but by the time we found the hostel everything was pretty much closed. It was a pretty uneventful evening but maybe one of our last lay around relaxing mornings.
